Fees and limits
Your customers pay what every Prio user pays. Prio adds nothing for being a partner's customer.
The fee on a payment
| Paid by | Amount | Fee |
|---|---|---|
| bank | under $2,000 | $1 + 1%, the percentage part capped at $5 |
| bank | $2,000 to $4,999.99 | a flat $10 |
| bank | $5,000 and up | a flat $15 |
| card | any amount | $1 + 3% |
Worked: a $100 payment costs $2 by bank and $4 by card. A $1,000 payment costs $6 by bank and $31 by card. A $1,999.99 payment costs $6 by bank. A payment of exactly $2,000, the largest the API sends or requests, is in the middle tier: a flat $10 by bank, and $61 by card.
Each invoice says what its payer pays: cashPrice by bank and creditPrice by card, with the fees in feesForBankAccount and feesForCreditCard.
Limits
A payment sent or requested through the API is at most $2,000.00, and $2,000 itself is accepted. Pay an invoice takes no amount: it pays what the invoice asks.
A pay button's amount above $2,000 is dropped, and the window asks the payer for the amount instead.
Amounts are in US dollars.
When money arrives
A paid invoice moves to deposited when the money reaches the payee's bank. Its estimatedPayoutDate carries Prio's estimate of that day.
